    fine painting,
    colors blue and mauve
    in a snow white wood,
    with the stream,
    that stream,
    is it flowing to
    the viewer,
    or is it flowing away
    from the viewer;
    the painting,
    and the photo, too,
    could be either,
    though I know
    in reality
    it’s flowing away,
    the painting
    is flowing to
    our thoughts.
