Playing with Faces

The SKTCHY app is a fun way to play with portraiture if you don’t have access to a model. This photo had just the amount of light and shadow I like in a photo. I see now I need to add more shadow to the left eye as the white of the eye is too bright. I painted this with a triad of ultramarine blue, permanent rose, and hansa yellow. I mixed a bit of quinacridone sienna in few spots.
