This is my neighbor’s barn and after 25 years of walking it by suddenly saw an appealing angle to paint it from. It was a dark sky behind with full late afternoon sun shining on the building giving a dramatic show of light. I usually do these in watercolor as a practice before doing them in oil. This is another triad of Prussian Blue, Hansa Yellow, and Alizarin Crimson.
